Due to the circumstances of the past year, it has not been conducive for me to take all of
the vacation days that have been allotted to me. According to my records, as of today, I
have nine (9) vacation days to use by the end of the year. I have scheduled five (5) of
these days to be used by the end of the month.
I am requesting that I be allowed to carry over the four (4) additional days still remaining
to me to 2007.
I thank you for your consideration in this matter.
Sincerely,
Eileen Manning
Recreation Secretary
PS: This request will not be a rule for the future, because I believe it is important for
vacations to be taken for employee's well-being. However, because of the circumstances
of the past year, I request that you approve this request for Mrs. Manning.

To date, I have 18 vacation days remaining which I have not taken for 2006. The town's
personnel policy allows for 15 vacation days to be automatically rolled over to the next
year.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, and the intense schedule of the office, I will not be able
to take the necessary three vacation days which I will have remaining. Therefore, I am
requesting that the three remaining vacation days be rolled over to 2007 in addition to the
15 for a total of 18 vacation days rolled over for 2007.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you for your
consideration of this matter.
