Town of Wappinger Recycling Center
Dear Neighbor:
Thank you for utilizing the Town of Wappinger Recycling Center, which is open to all Town
residents, to include those Town residents that live within the Village of Wappingers Falls. The
Recycling Center is overseen by Town of Wappinger Highway Superintendent Graham Foster,
and removal of the materials is through a contract with Royal Carting.
Residents may bring bulk items to the Recycling Center at their convenience. In the past, these
items were only collected during the Town's annual bulk cleanup. The Town will not continue to
provide the annual Bulk pick up
On a regular basis, the Recycling Center offers mulch which is produced from Town-wide
cleanup and maintenance efforts. Feel free to bring a collection container to the Recycling
Center to take advantage of this product.
For residents new to the Recycling Center, you must purchase a Recycle Center Sticker at the
Town Clerk's office, you must provide a registration for your vehicle and proof of residency. No
P.O Box address would be accepted.
For regular garbage, residents are required to purchase tickets from the Town Clerk's office at the
following cost:
Residents: $4.00 per ticket or $20.00 per book of 5 tickets
Seniors: $2.00 per ticket or $10.00 per book of 5 tickets
I welcome you again to the Town of Wappinger Recycling Center and encourage you to regularly
utilize this Town asset.
Sincerely,
