MEMO TO: SUPERVISOR JOSEPH RUGGIERO
FROM: RALPH J. HOLT, CHAIRMAN
RE: NEW MOWER FOR RECREATION
We feel it is time for us to put in place a plan that will add a new mower to
recreation maintenance inventory. We pitched the need for this piece of equipment at the
financial plan review for 2003. Payment for this was to come from sources other than the
recreation financial plan.
We have proceeded to determine if our need can be met by going through
state bids and their response indicates they can't help us. We have determined that the
mower would cost in the neighborhood of $18,000.00 and a grass catcher another
$5,000.00. We, therefore, request permission to go out to formal bid for this piece of
equipment.
