Demolition of concrete box beams with steel girder construction. • Harriman WTF, Harriman,NY, $19M. Construction of a new waste water treatment plant and upgrade of an existing plant for the Village of Harriman. This job consisted of five new round tanks OCS Industries, Inc. (two primary clarifiers with a pump station between them; two secondary clarifiers with a pump station between them and a sludge thickener tank),two new aeration tanks, two new traveling bridge filters as well as new block and brick buildings for the primary pump station, the secondary pump station and one enclosing the filter tanks. Additional items included chemical feed, blowers, electrical room, control room and inside storage with odor control for sludge dumpster storage. The scope of work also included additions to an existing metal building for dumpsters at the belt press. Extensive odor controls were added to the existing plant by covering the existing tanks, and piping them to odor control units.
