WHEREAS, pursuant to Town Law §29(10-a), the Town Board may authorize the
Supervisor to submit a copy of the annual update report to the State Comptroller required by
General Municipal Law §30 to the Town Clerk in lieu of preparing an annual financial report

trust company where the Town monies are deposited which show the amount of such monies on
deposit; and
WHEREAS, the information included in the report under General Municipal Law §30 is

Wappinger, required by General Municipal Law §30, to the Town Clerk in lieu of the report of
the Supervisor required by Town Law §29 (10); and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Supervisor shall file the copy of the annual
financial update document for the Town of Wappinger with the Town Clerk within 60 days after
the close of the fiscal year, or within such additional time that is granted by the State Comptroller
pursuant to General Municipal Law §30; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Clerk directed to cause notice of the
filing of such report to be published within 10 days after receipt thereof in a form approved by
the State Comptroller, in the official newspapers of the Town; and
