Resolution Acknowledging And Confirming Appointment Of Confidential Personal Secretary To The
Town Supervisor
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on January 11, 2016.
The meeting was called to order by Lori A. Jiava, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the
following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Beale and seconded by Councilman Kuzmicz.
WHEREAS, the Town Supervisor is authorized to appoint a Confidential Personal Secretary; and
WHEREAS, Supervisor Lori Jiava has elected to appoint Inez Maldonado as her Confidential Personal
Secretary; and
WHEREAS, in addition to the usual duties performed as a Confidential Personal Secretary to the
Supervisor, Inez's duties will also include the maintenance, coordination and billing of the Planning Board and
Zoning Board of Appeals applicants' escrow deposits in accordance with Town Code, as per past practice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted
herein.
2. The Town Board acknowledges and confirms the appointment by Lori Jiava, Supervisor of Inez
Maldonado as the Confidential Personal Secretary to the Supervisor.
3. The Town Board hereby established that Inez Maldonado's duties, in addition to the usual duties
performed as a Confidential Personal Secretary to the Supervisor, shall also include the maintenance,
coordination and billing of the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals applicants' escrow deposits in
accordance with Town Code, as per past practice.
The Town Board hereby establishes the salary of the Confidential Personal Secretary to the Supervisor at a total
annual salary of$44,000.00, which salary is to be paid in 52 weekly installments commencing on January 11,
2016.which requires a budget transfer of$3,000 from budget line 1010.405A to 1220.101A and another $5,000
from budget line item 1010.40 1 B to 1220.101 A.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
