Resolution Abolishing Position Of Motor Equipment Operator
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on
November 28, 2016.
The meeting was called to order by Lori A. Jiava, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Fenton and seconded by
Councilman Beale.
WHEREAS, the Town Highway Department has two vacant Motor Equipment Operator
("MEO")positions; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has determined that there is no need to retain one of the
vacant MEO positions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. One position of Motor Equipment Operator within the Town Highway
Department is hereby abolished.
The Town Supervisor is authorized to complete and file any documentation required by the
Dutchess County Department of Human Resources in connection with the action approved by
this resolution.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
