Resolutions RESOLUTION: 2017-121 Authorizes the Submission of an Application to New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation to complete the projects titled "Woodhill Green Condominiums Connection to Village of Wappingers Falls Water System" and "Untied Wappinger Water District Emergency Interconnection to Town of Poughkeepsie Water System and Village of Wappingers Water System" Whereas, the Town of Wappinger seeks to complete the projects titled "Woodhill Green Condominiums Connection to Village of Wappingers Falls Water System' and "Untied Wappinger Water District Emergency Interconnection to Town of Poughkeepsie Water System and Village of Wappingers Water System' Be it Resolved, that this governing board authorizes expenditures for these aforementioned projects. Be it Further Resolved, that this governing board authorizes the submission of an application to New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation. Councilman Fenton of Ward 3 asked who was going to pay for the interconnection of the UWWD and the village of Wappingers Falls water district. Attorney Roberts said he was unsure. The discussion continued about who's going to pay for the matching portion of the grant on the interconnection. Town of Wappinger Page 3 Printed 71612017 Special Meeting Minutes June 14, 2017 9 Engineer Gray reported that the Mid -Point park pipe line has been completed. Engineer Gray reported that a change order was put in place for the Town hall windows to let the bottom part crank out. They were promised to be here no later than week after 4th July. The town hall gutters bid produced only one bid for over $14,000. He suggested to talk to the window contractor doing a change order or go out to bid on it. The Emergency Service Building project has 12 requests for bid forms. The small EMS project is almost signed. Meadowood Well Field project comments were sent to DOH. The plan is to complete Meadowood before we take down Hilltop. The DOT is requiring sidewalks for the Route 9 Water and Sewer project. Motion To: Authorize Engineer to Prepare Drawing For the Court Expansion, Record and Building and Grounds Storage The discussion and authorization was made to expand the Court along with the storage building. Motion To: Repair Carnwath Administration Building Porch After the motion to address the court expansion was made the discussion moved to Carnwath. The need is to stabilize the Mansion and add a chain link fence. Mr. Cavaccini spoke about all his work on the sports museum. He mentioned that he had tenants lined up for the dormitory. Councilman Beale said that it was not a safe building. Mr. Cavaccini said he just wants to see something happen down there. The issue is that to get to the sports museum they need to pass by the mansion which is claimed to not be safe. Mr. Gray talked about the need for a fence. They discussed the administration building and the need for repair to the porch. Councilman Beale made the motion. Motion passed and the board adjourned. RESULT: ADOPTED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: William H.
