Resolution Authorizing Purchase Of Video Surveillance Equipment For Buildings & Grounds

At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on May 9, 2016.
The meeting was called to order by Lori A. Jiava, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Kuzmicz and seconded by Councilman Ciccarelli.
WHEREAS, the Supervisor of Buildings & Grounds, has recommended the purchase of video
surveillance equipment to promote security and deter vandalism in and around the buildings and grounds of the
Town of Wappinger; and
WHEREAS, the Supervisor of Buildings & Grounds has recommended that three high definition
remotely accessible video surveillance systems be purchased for installation at various Town facilities,
including Town Hall and Carnwath Farms at a cost of approximately $7,600; and
WHEREAS, the transfer of funds between budgetary appropriation lines is required to pay for the
acquisition of the security equipment; and
WHEREAS, the purchase of the security equipment is in the best interest of the Town;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted herein.
2. The Town Board hereby authorizes the Supervisor of Buildings & Grounds to purchase three high
definition remotely accessible video surveillance systems at a cost not to exceed $7,600.
3. To acquire the above-mentioned equipment the following budget line transfers are required:

4. The Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds is directed to submit purchase orders for the aforementioned
equipment and vouchers for payment upon receipt of the equipment in accordance with the Procurement Policy.
This resolution shall take effect immediately.
