Resolution Awarding Airport Park Fence Replacement Project
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on August 21, 2017.
The meeting was called to order by Lori A. Jiava, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the
following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Kuzmicz and seconded by Councilman Beale.
WHEREAS, Steven Frazier, Town of Wappinger Supervisor of Buildings & Grounds, solicited written proposals
for the replacement of fencing at the Airport Park pursuant to the Town's Procurement Policy; and
WHEREAS,the following proposals were received:

WHEREAS,by email dated July 27, 2017 from Steven Frazier, Supervisor of Buildings & Grounds, it has been
determined that the lowest responsible proposal is from Adams Fences, Inc. with a proposal in the amount of$20,795.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted herein.
2. The Town of Wappinger hereby awards the Airport Park fence replacement to Adams Fence, Inc. for the
amount of$20,795.
3. The Town Board determines that the cost of the fence replacement is considered a complete replacement
which qualifies as a capital improvement and is eligible to be funded from the Parkland Trust Funds account.
The Town Board hereby authorizes the Supervisor of Buildings & Grounds and the Supervisor to prepare a voucher for
payment to Adams Fence, Inc. upon installation of the fence in accordance with the proposal and further authorizes the
Supervisor of Buildings & Grounds to notify Adams Fence, Inc. to proceed with the work in accordance with their
proposal.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
