Resolution Authorizing Supervisor To Enter Into An Agreement For The Purchase, Monitoring And
Service Of Security System For The Highway Department
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on May 14, 2018.

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Kuzmicz and seconded by Councilman Beale.
WHEREAS, Custom Security Systems provides central station monitoring of security systems as well
as the maintenance and upkeep of said systems; and
WHEREAS, Custom Security Systems provides central station monitoring of security systems through
its division "Custom Monitoring"; and
WHEREAS, the Town has previously entered into an agreement with Custom Monitoring, a division of
Custom Security Systems to provide central station monitoring of the security systems located at Town Hall and
the Town owned Emergency Services Building; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Highway Department is in need of a security system; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has agreed to the purchase, monitoring and service of a security system
for the Highway Department; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has determined that the work to be provided by Custom Security Systems
is exempt from the requirements of the Town's Procurement Policy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted
herein.
The Town Board hereby authorizes the entering into an agreement with Custom Security Systems for the
purchase, monitoring and service of a security system for the Highway Department as set forth in the letter
dated April 24, 2018.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
