Resolution Expressing Intent To Reimburse Expenses From Bond Proceeds For Sewer Improvements
For Wildwood Sewer District
At a Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on September 5, 2018.

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Kuzmicz and seconded by Councilman Beale.
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger and Village of Wappingers Falls have investigated the feasibility
of connecting the Wildwood Sewer District and the Woodhill Green Condominiums to the Village of
Wappingers Falls Sewer System; and
WHEREAS, the Town and Village are seeking grants in aid for the design and construction of the
sewer improvements; and
WHEREAS, the project would entail the extension of the Wildwood Sewer District under Article 12-A
of the Town Law to provide municipal sewer service to the Woodhill Green Condominium and possibly other
properties; and
WHEREAS, the issuance of serial bonds for the design and construction of the project could not take
place until after the Wildwood Sewer District is extended pursuant to the provisions of Article 12 or Article 12-
A of the Town Law; and
WHEREAS, the Engineers to the Town of Wappinger prepared a Map Plan and Report which estimated
the cost of design and construction to be approximately $6.22 million dollars; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board as lead agency for purposes of SEQRA has determined that the project
would not result in an adverse environmental impact and has issued a negative declaration;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby declares its intent to
reimburse all eligible expenses for the design and construction of the Water Improvement Project, estimated to
be $6.22 million dollars, from the proceeds of bonds issued by the Town of Wappinger on behalf of the
Wildwood Sewer District; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
