Resolution Authorizing Supervisor Execute Dial -A -Ride Agreement
At a Reorganization Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New
York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on January 7, 2019.

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Beale and seconded by Councilman Johnston.
WHEREAS, the Town has previously entered into Agreements with Dutchess County to provide a joint
service transportation system for senior citizens and handicapped individuals; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement has been amended and extended from time to time; and
WHEREAS, Dutchess County has presented a proposal to the Town to provide such transportation
service for calendar year 2019 as set forth in a proposed Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Town desires to enter into said Agreement for the calendar year 2019, on the terms and
conditions as set forth in the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The Town Board hereby accepts the terms and conditions set forth and contained in the above-
mentioned Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto, to provide a transportation service system for senior
citizens and handicapped individuals and agrees to pay the annual sum of $57,730 for such service, payable in
quarter -annual payments as contained in the Dial -A -Ride Transportation 2019 Municipality Payment/Service
Schedule (Exhibit B).
The Town of Wappinger hereby approves the Dial -A -Ride Agreement, in effect for calendar year 2019 and
retroactive to January 1, 2019, in the form annexed hereto and authorizes and directs the Supervisor Richard
Thurston to execute the Agreement by and on behalf of the Town of Wappinger.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
