Resolution Auhtorizing Change Order #1 To Contract For Schlathaus Park Improvements
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on May 28, 2019.
The meeting was called to order by Richard Thurston, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the
following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Beale and seconded by Councilman Phillips.
WHEREAS, by Resolution 2018-214, the Town Board awarded the contract for Schlathaus Park Building
Improvements to Mike Clowry Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a Trademark Custom Building & Woodworking,
(“Trademark”) in the amount of $89,585.00; and
WHEREAS, by email dated May 21, 2019 the Engineers to the Town indicated that the proposed change
order to the contract was warranted because there were exterior electrical outlets on the building which required
materials and work that was not set forth in the original contract;
Trademark Custom Building & Woodworking complied with all of the bid requirements and is the lowest
responsible bidder;
NOW THEREFOR BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Town Board hereby approves Change Order No. 1, which increases the total contract price by the
amount of $408.00, resulting in a new contract price of $89,993.00, a copy of Change Order 1 is attached
hereto;
The Town Comptroller is authorized to make contract payments in accordance with these approved Change Orders
from the Recreation Trust Account.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
