Resolution Authorizing Payment For Duct Cleaning Services In Town Hall
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on July 8, 2019.
The meeting was called to order by Richard Thurston, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the
following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Kuzmicz and seconded by Councilman
Phillips.
WHEREAS, ServPro of Western Dutchess County responded to an Request for Proposals from the
Town of Wappinger to clean the ducts in Town Hall; and
WHEREAS, ServPro originally provided an invoice for services rendered in 2017 which was unpaid;
and
WHEREAS, at the request of the Town, ServPro submitted a payment voucher dated March 20, 2019 in
the amount of $19,500, which detailed the work completed on air handlers 1-5; and
WHEREAS, the claim for payment has been investigated and it has been determined that the work was
done and ServPro has a valid claim for payment; and
WHEREAS, the Town received $7,800 from its insurance carrier which is currently in the insurance
recovery account which appears to be related to this claim
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes payment to ServPro
in the amount of $19,500 from Budget Line A1620.452, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a budget transfer shall be made from unallocated fund balance
A0917 to A1620.452 in the amount of $11,700.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
