Resolution Authorizing Contract For Consulting Services For Grant Opportunities
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on May 28, 2019.
The meeting was called to order by Richard Thurston, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Phillips and seconded by Councilwoman
Bettina.
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger is pursuing various grant opportunities for infrastructure improvements,
including water and sewer projects, from Federal, State, Local and private sources of funding; and
WHEREAS, consulting services associated with grants is a professional service that is not subject to
competitive bidding; and
WHEREAS, SCOTT A. WILLIAMS is an experienced grant writer who has extensive experience obtaining
grant funding on water and sewer projects in the State of New York from a variety of available sources:
NOW THEREFOR BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Town Board hereby acknowledges the CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT attached hereto
and agrees to the terms and conditions stated therein.
2. The Town Board approves the CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT with Scott Williams and
authorizes the Supervisor to execute the letter agreement on behalf of the Town.
3. Scott Williams shall be paid monthly on vouchers submitted and reviewed as required by law in the
amount of $1,900 from the A fund.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
