Resolution Acknowledging Receipt Of Additional Pave-NY Funding
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on June 10, 2019.
The meeting was called to order by Richard Thurston, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Kuzmicz and seconded by Councilman Beale.
WHEREAS, the 2019 Budget for the Town of Wappinger anticipated $220,000.00 as revenue from Consolidated
Highway Aid from New York State DOT in budget line 3501.000-DB; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board appropriated $220,000.00 for permanent paving of Town Highways in budget line
5112.400-DB (Improvements-CHIPS Program) based upon this anticipated revenue; and
WHEREAS, by letter dated April 26, 2019, the New York State Department of Transportation advised that the
State has appropriated to the Town of Wappinger $196,515.00 in CHIPS funding and $44,856.50 in PAVE NY Funding
for a total of $241,371.50; and
WHEREAS, the aid from New York State is $21,371.50 more than originally budgeted by the Town Board; and
WHEREAS, CHIPS funds and PAVE NY aid may be used for permanent paving and other limited items; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to increase the appropriation for permanent paving by $21,371.50 to utilize
the additional state aid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The Town Board hereby authorizes the following budget amendments to reflect the additional revenue:
