Resolution To Authorize The Naming Of Roads In The Maloney Heights Subdivision
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on January
27, 2020.
The meeting was called to order by Richard Thurston, Town Supervisor, and upon roll
being called, the following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Phillips and seconded by
Councilwoman Bettina.
WHEREAS, in order to comply with the Dutchess County Enhanced 9-1-1 Response Program, the
Town must name public and private roads within the Town; and
WHEREAS, the developer for the Maloney Heights Subdivision requested that the name for the
two roads to be changed from what was previously approved by the Town;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Board hereby designates the highway
offered for dedication to the Town of Wappinger as Haifa Road and the private road/driveway
serving several properties shall be called Richie Lane.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Clerk is directed to provide a copy of this resolution
to the Dutchess County Real Property Tax Services.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
