Resolution to Authorize the Naming of Private Common Drive for Cohen Subdivision
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on February 24, 2020.
The meeting was called to order by Richard Thurston, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the
following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Beale and seconded by Casella.
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger Planning Board conditionally approved a final subdivision plat for
the Cohen Subdivision on November 16, 2017, which included a common driveway which serves three houses on
three separate lots; and
WHEREAS, the Dutchess County Enhanced 9-1-1 Response Program requires that a private road or a
common driveway serving more than two houses must be given a street name which must be approved by the
governing board of the municipality; and
WHEREAS, the developer for the Cohen Subdivision has submitted the name of Panorama Place to
Dutchess County for approval for the private common drive located in the Cohen Subdivision on All Angels Hill
Road; and
WHEREAS, the name Panorama Place has been approved by Dutchess County Real Property Tax by
email dated February 19, 2020;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby designates the private
common drive located in the Cohen Subdivision on All Angels Hill Road as Panorama Place; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Clerk is directed to provide a copy of this Resolution to
the Dutchess County Real Property Tax Services.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
