Resolution Authorizing Surveys For Standby Generators For United Wappinger Sewer District
At a Reorganization Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New
York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on January 11, 2021.
The meeting was called to order by Richard Thurston, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the
following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Casella and seconded by Councilman Beale.
WHEREAS, the United Wappinger Sewer District Operator CAMO Pollution has recommended that backup
generators be installed at the Kent Road and Sherwood Heights pump stations to provide emergency electrical
supply so that sewer service is not interrupted in the case of a power outage; and
WHEREAS, site surveys are required to ensure that the generators and security fencing are installed on municipal
property; and
WHEREAS, the Engineers to the Town CPL have submitted a proposal for survey services dated November 18,
2020 at a cost of $8,300 for both sites;
WHEREAS, the work proposed is a professional service which is not subject to competitive bidding;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The Town Board hereby approves the attached proposal of CPL for survey services in the amount of
$8,300.
2. The Town Board hereby authorizes payment of the services in an amount not to exceed $8,300 from the
unallocated, unappropriated fund balance of the United Wappinger Sewer District.
3. Payments under the contract shall be paid on vouchers submitted and reviewed as required by law.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
