Resolution Awarding Contract On Behalf Of The UWSD For Inspection Of Sewer Mains
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on October 25, 2021.
The meeting was called to order by Richard Thurston, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the

The following Resolution was introduced by Supervisor Thurston and seconded by Councilwoman
Bettina.
WHEREAS, after a demand from the United Wappinger Sewer System “UWSD”, Pavilion Condominiums
made certain improvements on sewer mains in its vicinity to mitigate inflow and infiltration into the UWSD; and
WHEREAS, the UWSD has to inspect the improvements to determine if they were properly completed;
and
WHEREAS, Arold Construction Company, Inc. has an approved NY State Bid contract for CCTV
Inspection of Sewer Mains; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The Town Board hereby authorizes the award of a contract to Arold Construction Company, Inc. for
CCTV Inspection of Sewer Mains; at a cost of $3,875.
2. Payments under the contract shall be paid on vouchers submitted and reviewed as required by law from
Budget Line SU8120.400 Sanitary Sewers, Contr.
3. A transfer of $3,875 from the UWSD fund balance to Budget Line SU8120.400 Sanitary Sewers, Contr. To
accomplish the intent of this resolution.
4. The Town shall recoup the payment for the cost of the CCTV inspection from the Pavilion Condominiums
as permitted by law.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
