Today I made a field visit to the above referenced property to investigate the possibility of connecting
this property to the existing sanitary sewer on Camelli Drive. Middlebush Road drains to the east from
its intersection with Camelli Drive. The home at 40 Middlebush would have to install a sewer lateral
against the natural grade of Middlebush Road. Also, this lateral would have to be installed along the
right-of-way Middlebush Road for approximately 300'*. This would require approval from the Dutchess
County Department of Public Works.
From the intersection of Camelli Drive and Middlebush Road, the lateral would have to be installed in a
southerly direction approximately 290'to the existing manhole. This overall length (approximately 590)
would require at a difference in an elevation of approximately 12'from the residence to the manhole on
Camelli Drive. With the existing manhole on Camelli Drive being approximately 61%t' deep, I do not
believe this lateral can be installed to operate via gravity.
