Resolution Establishing Pay Scale For Part-Time Town Patrol Personnel
At a Reorganization Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New
York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on January 9, 2023.
The meeting was called to order by Richard Thurston, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the
following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Casella and seconded by Councilman Phillips.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the pay scale for the Town of Wappinger Police Patrol personnel, as provided
by contract with the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, engaged to perform additional police protection and
surveillance services of Town parks, various other Town properties, and the performance of such other police
services and duties as may be assigned by the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, be and the same is
hereby fixed and established in accordance with the contract with the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office in effect
on January 1, 2023; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Sergeant Neil Stuart of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office is
hereby appointed the coordinator of the Town of Wappinger Vandalism Patrol, and his annual salary is hereby
set at $5,600,payable quarterly by verified voucher as services are performed; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all deputy services providing vandalism patrol services to the
Town of Wappinger, shall be paid on an hourly basis in accordance with the contract between the Town of
Wappinger and the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, and said personnel shall be paid upon verified voucher as
services are performed.
