2023-1522023-152 Resolution Approving Separation Agreement At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on November 13, 2023. WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger and an employee have agreed to the terms of a Separation Agreement which provides for the continuation of health insurance benefits for a period of up to six months in exchange for a release of all claims by the employee, and WHEREAS, the Attorney to the Town has drafted a Separation Agreement that incorporates the terms agreed upon by the parties; and WHEREAS, the Town Board has reviewed the terms of the Separation Agreement and believes it is in the best interest of the Town to enter into the Separation Agreement with the employee; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby approves the Separation Agreement and directs the Deputy Supervisor to execute the Agreement on behalf of the Town..
