This email is in -response to a FOIL request submitted that was requesting information for Guardian Self Storage located
at 1.078-1084 Route 9. Attached are copies of the certificates issued for the permits.we have on file. Also attached are
the variances/approvals/ special permit approvals we had on file. In addition, I have included the last fire inspection
report and some other information. These permits/certificates do have plans and additional information attached. If you
would like copies of the larger set of plans/site plans/surveys, we will have to send them to the print shop for copies and
you will be responsible for the cost, Let me know if that additional information will be requested. If you would like to
make an appointment to view the file, we can set up an appointment for that as well. None of records are in digital form
other than the information we have in the list below. Let us know if there are any specific items you are looking for.
Specific questions are addressed below:
-Current/historical underground -or above ground storage tanks/hazardous materials used: The building located at 1084
Route 9 was previously used as a Meineke Muffler Auto Garage. Per previous operational permits for Meineke, they had
compressed gases, cutting and welding, dry cleaning plants, waste oil and motor oil, flammable and combustible liquids
liquid or gas.fuelecl equpmen.t in the building and misc. combustible storage typical to a repair garage. (see attached.
This building has since been renovated.
Date of last fire inspection: 3/1/23 (see attached report)
Significant fire incidents: The previous tenant of the building located at 1084 Route 9 (Meineke) appears to have had a
..fire in 1988 due to a car catching on fire in the garage. The building has since been renovated. See attached documents.
Violations: There are not currently any violations on record. This does not mean that no -violations exist, just that we do
not currently have any on record.
Date of last building inspection: The last inspection by the town building inspector (other than the fire inspection)
appears -to. have-b-ceh-w-hen the garage was converted to the storage building in.2019.._.._ _______ __....._ ._
Open permits: There are no current open building permits at this time.
