Resolution To Authorize Sale Of Abandoned Vehicle
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on February
12, 2024.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph D. Cavaccini, Town Supervisor, and upon roll
being called, the following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Supervisor Cavaccini and seconded by
Casella.
WHEREAS, an abandoned vehicle was left at Wappinger Town Hall, and
WHEREAS, in an effort to identify the owner, the vehicle was towed to the Town Buildings and Grounds
Facility, and
WHEREAS, the owner could not be identified and per New York State law, following the necessary period
of time, the vehicle has been considered abandoned, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds
to proceed in auctioning off the vehicle as Town surplus.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
