2024-2232024-223 Resolution Accepting Resignation Of Groundskeeper In The Buildings and Grounds Department At a Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on December 16, 2024. The meeting was called to order by Joseph D. WHEREAS, Zackary Zindler in a letter dated December 9, 2024 submitted his resignation as a Groundskeeper for the Town of Wappinger Buildings and Grounds Department effective January 2, 2025. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: 1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted herein. 2. The Town Board hereby regrettably accepts the resignation of Zachary Zindler as a Groundskeeper for the Town of Wappinger Buildings and Grounds Department effective January 2, 2025. 3. The Town Comptroller, Jessica Servidio, is directed to compute any sums due Zackary Zindler by reason of any benefit time such as unused sick pay, vacation pay and personal time that may be owing to him pursuant to the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Town and Teamsters. Dear Mr. Cavaccini, Sal, and the entire lbwn of Wappingers Team, I just want to express my appreciation for allowing me to work for the Town of Wappingers and for working with such Incredible people I now consider family. I have learned so many things and I thoroughly enjoyed working under Mich and Sal and the rest of the recreation teary. This job gave me so rnuchr Opportunity to grow as a person and gave me tools that I. can take can with me for the rest of Myr working career.
