2003-286RESOLUTION NO. 2003-286 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REFUND OF BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATION FEE FOR 46 AMHERST LANE At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on the 8`" day of December, 2003, at 7:30 P.M. The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the following were present: PRESENT: Supervisor - Joseph Ruggiero Councilmen - Robert L. Valdati Vincent F. Bettina Joseph P. Paoloni Christopher J. Colsey ABSENT: The following Resolution was introduced by Mr. Bettina and seconded by Mr. Valdati WHEREAS, on or about November 25, 2003, Vincent Ferina paid the Town of Wappinger One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for a retro fee for building work done without a permit, WHEREAS, Vincent Ferina has requested a refund in the amount of One Hundred dollars and 00/100 ($100.00) as the work was completed in an emergency. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted herein. 1. Payment is approved in the amount of One Hundred and 00/100 ($100.00) made payable to Vince Ferina, Account Number 21763, for the refund of the retro fee for 46 Amherst Lane as outlined in a letter from Building Inspector George Kolb dated December 5, 2003. We asked Mr. Farina to secure a building permit. When he tried to secure the permit he was told there would be a $100 penalty fee because the work was done without a permit. We would request that you waive the penalty fee as this was done under an emergency situation.
