,..... Mr. Fanuele: Mr. Berberich received a letter to be here tonight for the meeting, but he is not on the agenda. He
has to call the Zoning Administer tomorrow to straighten everything out.
Mr. Fanuele: We will have to table the June 27,2000 minutes because there are not enough members present
for the meeting.

Appeal No. 00-7052 - At the request of Jay Marshall Weiss, who is seeking an area variance of Section 240-
37 - Whereas 25 feet front yard setback is required, the appellant is proposing 18 feet side yard setback, thus
requestine 7 feet front yard variance in order to construct the buildine the way the Plannine Board wants
i1. The property is located at the comer of Airport Drive and Route 376 and is identified as Tax Grid No. 6259-
04-541394 in the Town of Wappinger.
Eric Gardell the applicant's engineer is present for the meeting.
Mr. Gardell: The variances are need for the size of the building. The Planning Board requested that we rotate
the building around.
Mr. Fanuele: There was a site inspection last Saturday. Is there anyone in the public who has any comments
on this application.

_ Whereas 25 feet side yard is required, the appellant is proposing 15 feet side yard setback, thus requestine 10
feet side yard setback in order to construct a carport and attach it to a shed. The property is located at 61
Gold Road and is identified as Tax Grid No. 6258-04-988388 in the Town of Wappinger.
Emmanuez Zeakis is present for the meeting.

Mr. Zeakis: I want to attach to my existing shed a carport. I have plenty of property around it.
Mr. Fanuele: You want to extend that shed?
Mr. Zeakis: Correct.
Mr. Fanuele: Is there anyone in the public who wants to speak for or against this variance?
No one spoke for or against the variance.
Mr. Prager: I went out there on a site inspection. I noticed that the carport will not be going back any further
on the property line.

DISCUSSIONS
1. Timothy & Cheryl Zubradt - Seeking 2 variances in order to have the garage closer to the street. The
property is located at 38 Red Hawk Hollow Road in the Town of Wappinger.
Timothy Zubradt is present for meeting.
Mr. Prager:
You need 2 variances a side and front yard.
Mr. Zubradt: Weare trying to make the existing garage handicap accessible. That is the only way I can go
economically.
Mr. Prager: I think we should go out and look at it.
Mr. Fanuele: Site Inspection on July 15,2000 and have stakes in the ground.
I think we need a new variance application update. We will set a public hearing for the next
meeting.
Public hearing July 25,2000.

2. Paul Ott - Seeking an area variance to construct an above ground pool. The property is located at 10
Onondaga Drive in the Town of Wappinger.
Paul Ott is present for the meeting.
Mr. Ott: The setback that is requested is not anywhere close to creating a problem.
Mr. Fanuele: You still need a variance and it's best to go through it and get it done. If one day if you sell your
house you would be in violation. How big is your lot?
Mr. Ott: It is 0.17 acres.
Mr. Prager: What is the size of the pool?
Mr. Ott: 15x24.
Mr. Fanuele: We will set a public hearing.

3. John Goetz - Seeking 2 variances in order to have the existing structure and deck pass code. The property
is located at Red Hawk Hollow Road Lot #3 in the Town of Wappinger.
Mr. John Goetz was not present for the meeting. There was no action taken. Will have to contact him to see if
he wants to be on the next agenda.
Stephan Reilly is here to ask the board something.
Mr. Reilly:
My understanding Jon Adams had filed an interpretation request. I would like to know when it is
schedule for a meeting.

Mr. Fanuele: It is schedule for July 25,2000.
Mr. Reilly: There is no way of schedule a hearing tonight?
Mr. Prager: We can not do anything like that until there has been a discussion first.
Mr. Prager: Made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
