Mrs. Colarusso explained they want to build a 20' X 20' garage 23 feet from the side yard. She
said they will need a 2 foot variance.
Mr. Prager said from looking at the site plan, it doesn't look like there is any other spot to build
the garage.
Mr. Close added the septic is in the back.
Mr. Prager stated at the last meeting the Board received a copy of the style of the garage. He
said the garage will have one door. He stated no one was in the audience. He logged into
evidence a site plan of the property, a sketch of the house with the proposed garage, a sketch of
the type of garage, and minutes from the February 10' meeting.
Mr. Fanuele made a motion to close the public hearing.
Mr. diPierno seconded the motion.
Vote: All present voted aye.
Mr. diPierno made a motion to grant the variance for the following reasons; The variance will
not be detrimental to nearby properties. It will not produce an undesirable change in the
character of the neighborhood. There are very limited alternative methods to achieve the benefit
requested. The requested variance is not substantial. It is only 2 feet. The proposed variance
will not cause any adverse effect or physical impacts in the neighborhood. The difficulty is self-
created.
Mr. Warren seconded the motion.
