I represent the Chase Bank and we would like to have an
additional sign on the building facing south on Route 9 because
you can't see the building going north. We are also asking that
our pylon sign be 12 feet in height instead of 10 feet in height
because we are on a slope and we also need to place it 5 feet off
of the property line.
Your first request for three signs, does that include illumination?
Yes.
These are nice pictures here.
Do you know of any other 12 foot signs on Route 9 in the area?
No I am not.
I believe the Toyota sign and the Nissan sign.
Are these typical Chase signs?
Yes.

Two of the wall signs are already up on the building and only
one of those signs are to be illuminated until this board votes.
Has this been sent to DC Planning yet?
Yes for this and also for Adams Fairacre Farms.
Where is the sign proposed to go?
Went up to the dais to show the board.
We will also do a site visit here so please put a stake where the
pylon will go and where the property line is. Your public
hearing will be on December 9,2008.

I am the builder for Mr. McCaan and he would like to extend his
porch from 4' X 8' to 8' X 24'. It is low to the ground and is
not up to code right now.

explained them.
