Attention: John Kruse
Reference: Airport Assisted Living Facility
Dear John:
As a follow-uP to Our May 17fu, 2000 meeting, we reconvened the morning of the
1Sfu. In attendance were AI Roberts, Mark Lieberman, Sal Morello, yourself and
myself. Supervisor Smith also attended the meeting towards the end.
In discussion was the Airport Assisted Living Facility. AI and I were advised that
construction and framing had been started without the benefit of a Building
Permit, and that plans were being supplied to your office on a piecemeal basis. 1\
was the consensus of the group that if a permit has not been issued, construction
should not be ongoing.
Therefore, the opinion was that a 'Stop work Order" should be issued until all
plans are submitted, reviewed, modified if necessary, and approved. At that poiot
a Building Permit can be issued and the "Stop Work Order" lifted.
If there are any questions on the above, please do not hesitate to contact this
office.
