Reference: Interim Plot Plan
Dear Supervisor Smith & Board Members:
As you are aware, the Board had entertained the idea of having an interim plot plan
as part of the Building Permit process currently employed by the Town of
Wappinger. The reason for the interim plot plan is to insure that prior to any
framing that the house conforms to the horizontal setbacks and was constructed to
the elevations as approved.
Most recently, a house being constructed at the end of Fleetwood Drive appears
not to be in conformance with the approved Preliminary Plot Plan. This situation
will become problematic for the Town and the Owners of the house.
Having an interim plot plan requirement in this instance, in all likelihood, would
have avoided this situation from becoming a reality.
Again, I would ask the Board to consider adoption of the ordinance drafted by Dan
Wery's office.
If there are any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact this
office.
