Town Board Town of Wappinger P.O. Box 324 Wappingers Falls, New York 12590 Attention: Constance O. Smith, Supervisor Reference: Wappinger Sewer Transmission/Treatment Improvement Phase 3A: Contract No. l/Easements Dear Supervisor Smith & Board Members: As of this date, we have generated easement maps and descriptions for Capolino, Kowalsky and Ditulli, and have forwarded them to AI Roberts. In reviewing our list of the proposed easement locations for this contract, we found two locations still in need of attention. The first location is at the end of Seneca Lane adjacent to the Kowalsky property. An easement is required from Sciamatore and Callahan at #14 and #13 Seneca Lane. These two parcels were included in our original list sent to the Town Board in a letter dated July 13th, 1999 (copy enclosed). It appears that these residents did not respond to the Town Board's letter, which was sent to the property owners on our original list. It is imperative that this easement is obtained as soon as possible so that the plans for this area can be finalized. lIthe Board so wish~s, we will try contracting the homeowners to schedule a. meeting to discuss the easements. Please advise us on how you would like us to proceed in this matter. The other area where easements will be required is the south end of Cayuga Drive between house #13 and #15. These easements are required to provide sewer facilities for the two southern most Hark Plaza buildings. The owners of these two lots are as follows: David and Harriet Wood 13 Cayuga Drive Wappingers Falls, New York Lewis and Ann Rompala 15 Cayuga Drive Wappingers Falls, New York Joseph E. Paggi, Jr., P.E. Ernst Martin, Jr., P.E., L.S. Charles R. Del Bene, Jr., P.E. i , . Constance O. Smith Town Board RE: WST/TIA-Phase 3A-l -2 - September 15, 1999 In addition to these two parcels on Cayuga Drive, a short (65' long) easement from Hark Plaza will be necessary. We will contact the Owner of Hark Plaza to discuss this matter. If you have any questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to contact this office. Very truly yours, L!1~~.
