The Contract Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise Participation Plan, including the Town of Wappinger Affirmative Action Policy Statement is enclosed herein as Appendix B. 5. A copy of the Affidavit of Publication reflecting Hudson Canyon Construction, Inc.'s solicitation of MlWBE suppliers is enclosed herein as Appendix "C". 6. Due to the specific nature of the construction (i.e. the project was essentially a large earthen fill) opportunities for subcontract work were severely limited. The Contractor received no response to his advertised solicitation for proposals. A review of a comprehensive list of local MlWBE Contractors generated by the Dutchess County Planning Department likewise revealed no applicable subcontract/supplier possibilities. A copy of this correspondence is being transmitted to Ms. King for her records. Any questions or comments may be addressed to this office. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
