Rockingham Farms Sewer Plant .
Dear Supervisor Smith & Board Members:
I am in rec~ipt of a letter from Daniellyekekpolor regarding the
Rockingham Sewer Plant dated March 13, 1997, and would advise that
we are currently preparing Contract Documents for the Contract 2.3
which is the final connection from the Rockingham Farms collection
system to the newly constructed Rockingham Farms Pump Station.
This projeq should be out to bid early April 1997, with construction
beginning In May 1997. The construction period would be approximately
1-2 weeks, therefore, by late May the work should be completed.
The ~easofl that the plant has not been connected to Tri-Municipal, as of
yet, IS bec~use their expansion is not, as we speak, 100% complete, and
therefore, ~Iow could not have been delivered to their plant. As you are
~wa~e, we were just informed recently that the plant completion is
Imminent.
If there arc; any questions, please do not hesitate to contact this office.

RE: Annual Inspection
Midpoint Park Sewer District (NY #0035637)
Wildwood Sewer District (NY #0037117)
Fleetwood Sewer District (NY #0021601)
Rockingham Farms Sewer District .(NY #0035297)
Dear Town Officials:
The Annual Inspection of the referenced facilities were performed by myself
on February 18, 1997 in the presence of Mr. Jim Evans of Camo Pollution Control,
Inc., for the purpose of evaluating compliance with the State's Pollutant Discharge
Elimination System (SPDES) permit and Article 17 of the Environmental
Conservation Law. A copy of each inspection report is enclosed for your review.
The Rockingham Farms Sewer District plant was operating marginally. The
final settling tank's effluent contained visible solids and was also not clear. This
plant needs immediate attention.
Please inform this office within 10 days why this plant is not yet connected to
the Tri-municipal plant as expected.
The other three facilities were operating satisfactorily at the time of this
inspection.
Very truly yours,
,-
