Rockingham Drainage Project
Dear Supervisor Smith & Board Members:
As per the last Town Board meeting, we were instructed to meet with the
fence subcontractor working on the Rockingham Drainage Project with
Graham Foster to determine an efficient manner of maintaining the
easement if the fence is realigned near the Wallich & Mooney parcel as
requested by the owner.
On Tuesday, June 17, 1997, we met with Graham Foster, the contractor,
and the fence subcontractor on the project to discuss this.
We came to an agreement that certain sections of the fence would be
installed in such a manner so it can be easily moved to provide access.
This was also discussed with Mr. Wallich, who was in total agreement.
The arrangement calls for the fence to be installed on the extreme
westerly property line until it reaches the southwest corner of the Wallich
and Mooney parcel. There the fence will go at right angles approximately
20' to the inside of the easement line at the south edge of the Wallich
and Mooney parcel. From there it will extend northerly to the point as
shown on the original construction plan.
The additional cost would be the installation of approximately 20' of
fence, which is $500.00 as discussed at the Town Board meeting.
If there is any comments regarding this, please do not hesitate to contact
our office.
