Smith, Supervisor Reference: BGHKR and G & R properties/Sewer Connection Phase 3A Dear Supervisor Smith & Board Members: Our office has received a request from G & R Properties that they be included in Phase 3A of the Wappinger Sewer Transmission/Treatment Improvement Area. The G & R Properties are two (2) one acre lots on the east side of Route 9, and adjacent to the Alpine properties. G & R has offered to perform all construction necessary to connect to the existing Town of Wappinger sewer pipe, which is within 1,000 feet of their property. As the addition of these commercial parcelS to the Improvement Area will alleviate the financial burden on residential parcels at zero capital costs to the Town of Wappinger, we would recommend that Phase 3A be extended to include these properties. We will provide a map and benefit unit data for these parcels at the next Town Board meeting. If you have any questions or comments in the meantime, please feel free to contact this office.
