Grading Permit
Dear Supervisor Smith:
Attention:
I am in receipt of a Grading Permit application and supporting Engineer's
Report and Plan dated June 26, 1995. It should be noted that the plan
is dated May 10, 1995.
We have reviewed the application and find it acceptable with the
following stipulations:
1. The necessity of a permit from the New York State
Department of Environmental Conservation for the
stream crossing should be explored and some
statement provided regarding this necessity includea in
the Engineer's Report.
2. The slope that is proposed to be created in the
immediate southeast corner of the property is too
steep and should be regraded to 1 :3.
3. If there are waivers that are requested from sections
of the Zoning Ordinance, the Applicant must make an
application to the Zoning Board of Appeals.
I would recommend at this point that the Zoning
Administrator be asked what specific method should
be followed.
4. The term "reclamation" in the conclusion of the report
shall be construed to mean with topsoil and seeding.
This should be. done immediately upon completion of
the grading.

Old Route 9 in the Town of Wappinger. In accordance with Section 441 .
Landfilling, Regrading and Removal of Earth Material of the Town of Wappinger
Zoning Ordinance, Mr. Red! wishes to regrade said property. Accordingly, enclosed
herewith please find Engineers Report and Site Plan which more specifically
describes the regrading activity for which a Special Use Permit is required.
