Dear Supervisor Smith & Board Members:
In furtherance of our discussion at the November 13, 1995 Town Board
workshop meeting regarding the above subject, we have been advised
by Camo Pollution Control that the location of the water mains shown
on my enclosure of my October 25, 1995 correspondence is accurate.
As you can see from the enclosed copy of the district map, there is no
main in front of the six (6) lots on Moccasin View Drive, although they
are within the legal boundaries of the district.
As previously stated, the only way to serve these lots would be to
extend the water main approximately 500 feet in a northwesterly
direction on Moccasin View Drive. The service connection could than
be tapped off this newly installed main to serve the six (6) lots. This
can be seen on the enclosed sketch.
Project costs are detailed below:
o Construction Cost $ 62,500.00
OContingency $ 6,250.00 $ 68,750.00
oEngineer & $ 13,750.00
Inspection Fees
oLegal Fees $ 3,437.00 $ 17,187.00

I do not believe we will need any approvals from the New York State
Department of Environmental Conservation as the lots are already within
the water district. However, technical approval of plans must be
obtained by the Dutchess County Health Department, and obviously,
coordination with the Town Board, Town of Fiskill will be required.
I have enclosed a copy of the original district map for your review. It is
obvious if one overlays the tax map on the district map, that these
parcels are within the legal boundaries of the district.
If there are any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact this
office.
