Box 324 Wappingers Falls, New York 12590 ELAINE SNOWDEN TOWN CLet1K Attention: Tim Classey Leonard Parcel Lookout Point Reference: Dear Tim: As an outgrowth of the October 15, 1991, Town Board Workshop meeting relative to the above subject parcel, please be advised of the following: 1 . It would appear that the existing water booster station has sufficient capacity to at least marginally support this one parcel. Therefore, I would recommend that the Certificate of Occupancy could be issued for this one parcel prior to the completion of the proposed booster station. However, it would be my opinion that no Building Permit and/or Certificate of Occupancy for additional parcels be issued until the new booster station is complete. I would also recommend that Camo Pollution Control monitor the existing booster station to make sure there is adequate pressure at the Leonard residence. 2. With respect to the safety condition regarding the telephone pole within the confines of existing pavement, I would recommend that Mr. Gatanis adequately barricade the telephone pole until it can be removed. I would also recommend that certified documentation be sent to the appropriate utility company by both the Developer and the Town to try and speed up removal of this pole. Joseph E. Paggi, Jr., P.E. Box 324 Wappingers Falls, New York 12590 Attention: Tim Classey Reference: Leonard Parcel Lookout Point 3. I would further recommend another sit down meeting with Mr. Gatanis and his people to try and Qet a realistic schedule for completion of this work. The existmg work that has been done is eroding as time goes on, and the situation is just getting worse and not better. I do not want to put the Town in position of being behind the eight ball again, and therefore, I would recommend doing whatever necessary to insure that Mr. Gatanis completes this work in a timely manner. With the above in mind and the temporary safety measures taken around the telephone pole, I would think it appropriate to issue the Certificate of Occupancy for the Leonard residence. If there are any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me. Very truly yours. /2." 17 ; ,0f~~~ c 7 ~cJ€) '-.-"',' Joseph E. Paggi, Jr., P.E. JEP:law ,,- I I cc: Town Board c...c..
