Reversible, Frink's
Worm Gear Reverse
Drive Frame provides
infinite angling power in any
diredion. (WG)
Our proven gear reversible design* eliminates the need
to service cylinders. A hydraulically powered worm gear
rotates the blade up to 370, left or right. Infinitely variable,
it automatically locks in place wherever and whenever you
release the control.
The worm gear reversible drive frame is designed and
engineered to meet high standards of performance and
durability. The frame is built from rugged tubing and flame
cut steel plate - reinforced for added strength - to provide
a clean design and optimum center of gravity. Available
with either 21" or 31" drive centers.
Options: Adjustable drive frame shoes or caster wheels;
manual latch instead of hydraulic worm gear.
'Patented in U.S. and Canada
..~---~-~
Two powerful 3%" x 20" hydraulic reversing cylinders,
with 2" case-hardened chrome-plated piston rods,
supply the brute strength you need to change either
our Polyplow(Rl or steel trip edge reversible's mold-
board angling in heavy snow.
Reversing cylinders are designed with a minimum
burst pressure of 8000 P.S.I., and with the same rugged
seals used in today's large earth moving machinery.
Latch mechanism and reversing table are eliminated
to provide infinitely variable plowing directions
up to 3r, left or right. A safety cross-over
valve is included.
The ram reverse drive frame is built from strong boxed
flame-cut plate, with heavy tubing main drive member.
A choice of 21" or 31" drive centers is offered.
Options: Adjustable drive frame shoes or caster wheels
to minimize weight on cutting edge.
Frink Ram Reverse Drive Frame with
twin double ading cylinders for extra
angling power. (RR85)
Our new Para-Level eliminates plow list.
Frink again demonstrates its innovative leadership
with the introduction of the Para-Level. This new 3 point lift
chain device does away with plow list once and for all.
Para-Level eliminates plow list whether the plow is on
the ground, or angled in the carry position.
Para-Level is another exclusive Frink feature your
drivers will really appreciate.
The. energy-eHicient Polyplow@ with our
exclusive trip edge design.
Our Polyplow@ Trip
Edge Reversible revolutionized
snowplowing due to its extraordinary energy efficiency.
And our trip edge design ensures its long life. Frink's trip
edge actually deflects whenever it comes in contact with an
obstruction on the pavement. By doing so, it protects your
equipment and improves driver safety. Trip activation
is achieved by six torsion springs, each with 16 active coils.
The beauty of Polyplowi" is that you can plow left, right,
or bulldoze straight ahead with a moldboard possessing
an extremely low coefficient of friction. Polyplow's ultra-
slippery, no-stick surface makes snow fly faster, and further
at any temperature off the innovative moldboard our
engineers so slickly designed.
Polyplow<R1 is tougher than steel, yet lighter than alum-
inum, so you can anticipate energy savings in the neighbor-
hood of 25-33%. What's more, PolyploW'" is completely
corrosion resistant, easy to maintain (painting is never
required), and its increased curvature reduces spill-over.
The combination of a trip edge, and high-strength,
structural drive frame minimizes shock loads. Plus, Frink
tripping edges integrate rugged torsion springs to assure
blade alignment. And you have your choice of worm
gear or ram reverse.
Add it all up, and you'll easily see why this is an excellent
investment. This winter, next winter and many more
winters to come.
Polyplow's a real fuel saver.
In independent field tests, the Polyplow'"' was compared
with conventional steel moldboards. Under identical con-
ditions. and mounted on identical chassis, both plows
were operated over the same course.
The results: a 25% to 33% fuel savings with Polyplow".
While these figures may vary with engine torque, gear
ratios and other factors, they are nevertheless representa-
tive of the definite fuel-saving advantages of Polyplow"'.

Steel Trip Edge Reversibles: Solid Frink
quality and dependability.
Frink steel moldboards are
panelled, never rolled, to give
you the structural strength you've
come to depend upon from Frink. Each
upper moldboard edge is box broken for
extra strength, too. To minimize checking and cracking,
our steel moldboards are pre-formed to fit the ribs, never
forced into position.
Frink quality and reliability are the result of field and wind
tunnel testing to give you a proven, efficient moldboard
shape.
Like its Polyplow@ counterpart, our steel moldboard
integrates our exclusive trip edge to minimize shock loads.
And you also have your choice of worm gear or ram reverse.
Blade alignment is assured by integrating durable torsion
springs.
All Frink Trip Edge Reversibles are designed to
be run on optional carbide moldboard shoes. This
important feature eliminates the need for adiustable
drive frame shoes or caster wheels. And it's one
more way Frink gives you solid quality and
dependability.
