post a copy of the attached Ordinance to Amend the Zoning
Ordinance of the Town of Wappinger (Section 424 -Signs),
which was duly adopted by the Town Boardof the Town of
Wappinger on July 10th, 1978, on the signboard maintained
by your deponent in her office in the Town Hall of the
Town of Wappinger, Mill Street, in the Village of Wappingers
Falls, Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York,
pursuant to Subdivision 6 of Section 30 of Town Law, and
that said copy of such Ordinance has remained so posted
from said July 12 th, 1978 through and including July
31st, 1978.

Wappinger will conduct a public hearing on June 28, 1978 at
7:00 P.M. EDST at Town Hall, Mill Street, Wappingers Falls, Dutchess
County , New York, to hear all persons concerning an Ordinance
to Amend the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Wappinger as
follows:
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER
Introduced by Councilman Johnson
Be it ordained by the Town Board of the Tom of
Wappinger as follows:
Section 424 of the zoning ordina.- :,e. of the Town of
Wappinger duly adopted on January 29, 1963 is amended. -as,
follows:
Section One:
Section 424 is amended by the addition of the following
paragraph following subparagraph d:
Free standing or temporary signs located within
any business or industry district shall be located and set
back no less than 25 feet from any front, side or rear
line of a lot.
Section Two:
This ordinance shall take effect upon adoption, posting
and publication.
