ZONING ORLINANCE BY
AMENDING ME ZONING MAP
of the TOWN OF WAPPINGER
BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDAINED by the Town Board of the Town
of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, pursuant to the Authority
conferred by Article 16 of the Town Law of the State of 1;ew York, and
also pursuant to Article 9 of the Town Law, to the extent applic-
able as follows:
Section 1: The Town of Wappinger Zoning Ordinance Map
adopted January 29, 1963, as amended, is hereby further amended
by rezoning a.certain tract of land from R-40 (single family
residential) to RD - 20 (multi -family residential). - The said
tract ofland is in the general area of McFarlane Road in the Town
of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, and is more particularly
bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the westerly line of lands of
now or formerly Lanci, said point being distant South 6-52-40
fest 350.00 feet from the intersection of the westerly line of
said Lanci with the southerly line of McFarlane Road, running thence
along said westerly line of Lanci, south 6-52-40 West 233.21 feet
to a point, said point being the southwest corner of lands of said
Lanci, thence along the southerly line of said Lanci, south 86-01-
30 east 128.79 feet to a point, thence leaving said line and
running through lands of K.3.& M. Associates, the following
courses and distances, south 15-53-20 west 1162.51 feet and south
41-24-30 east 632.67 feet to a point on the northerly line of
lands of now or formerly of Eck, thence along said line of Eck,
south 81-44-10 west 630.00 feet to a point on the easterly line
of lands of now or formerly of Heimburger, thence along the
easterly line of said Heimburger, north 13-10-50 west 721.88 feet
and north 13-04-30 west 602.83 feet to a point, thence leaving said
line of Heimburger and running through lands of K.B.& M. Associates
north 48-48-10 east 961.86 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing 20.46 acres of land be the same more or less.
Section 2: This amendment shall become effective immed-
iately upon adoption, posting and publication as prescribed by
Town Law.
