Report for the period 7/1/1976 - 12/31/1976
During the past 6 months I have received the usual number
of requests for information on people in the area. I also took
several pictures of one of the old homes in the area for pub-
lication in a book on the geneology of the Monfort and Hoogland
families.
I also conducted several walking tours of the village. To-
gether with the village historian a tour of the Village and tONn
were planned for the Dutchess county Historical Society. Also
attended the dedication of the Town park on Route 9 and the
Bi-Centennial parade.
During the past few weeks I have taken several rolls of
slides whioh have been incorporated in a slide presentation
on the town and village. This ha~ been given to several
groups in the area and I have been asked to give it to at
least two groups after the first of the year.
I am still trying to collect booklets and books on the
ar8a for use in research.
It has been a very interesting year & I am looking forw~rd
to another intere :::ting year j.o 1J77.
