CHAIRPERSON, ~ ApReal # 571 -2- October 15th, 1981 At the October 13th, 1981 meeting of the zoning Board of Appeals, a.motion was made by Mr. cortellino, to adopt the following resolution: The zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of wappinger hereby recommends that a Special Use permit be issued to the central Hudson Gas and Electric Corporation for a substation and overhead transmission lines on parcels numbered 6258-03-376432, 6258-01-325728, and 6258-01-219303, in the Town of wappinger, subject to the following conditions: 1. Approval of the Dutchess County Department of Health shall be obt?ined prior to the issuance of a building permit. 2. Curb cut permit shall be obtained from the Dutchess County Department of Public Works. 3. Dow~stream drainage fee of $ .15 a square foot for newly covered roofed areas and areas covered by impervious material shall be paid prior to the issuance of a building permit. 4. Central Hudson Gas and Electric corporation is responsible for obtaining any required permits and/or approvals with regard to the installation of the overhead transmission lines (Federal, State governments, etc.). 5. screening shall be applied around the construction site. screening shall consist of a combination of white pines 18" in height and hemlocks 18" in height to be planted in are<;is where there would be visual impact. Plantings shall be five to ten feet on center in a random pattern to replicate reforestation. 6. The drainage plan shall be approved by the Engineer to the Town in conjunction with the Pizzagalli site with regard to consideration of outflow from said site through central Hudson's site to the ultimate discharge point.
