2. TYPE OF APPEAL (co:ij\plete relevant section). *
a. A VAR~CE IS REQUESTED for the following reasons:
1) strict application of the Zoning Ordinance vlould produce undue
hardship because: I bought the lot to build a house in all good faith that
the lot was buildable. We have been paying taxes, water and sewer assessments.
The mortgage has been approved and plans selected.
2) The hardship created is unique and is not shared by all properties
alike in the immediate vicinity of this property and in this district
because: in the original subdivsion all other lots are developed. Also, the
previous purchase option was not exercized and this lot was then purchased by the
county and sold to us at auction.
3) The variance would observe the spirit of the' Ordinance and would not
change the character of the district because: it is a residential area
and I intend to build a residence. Lot size is comparable to others in the
subdivsion, and larger than the adjoining one.

Gentlemen:
Lae,t August I purchased a lot on Ardmore Drive, Wappingers Falls,
at the tax auction. A t the time it was our understanding
that this was a buildable lot. It is our intention to build
a small home on it for our daughter.
They now have a mortgage approval and house plans. However,
a question has been raised as to whether a building permit
will be issued by your office.
Will you, as zoning administrator, approve the issuance of
a building permit?
