BOX 335 FISHKIll, NEW YORK 12524 April 29, 1980 Office of the Zoning Administrator Town of Wappinger - Town Hall Wappingers Falls, New York 12590 Attention: Mr. Hans R. Gunderud, Building Inspector & Zoning Administrator Reference: VIOLATIONS OF TOWN ORDINANCE Dear Mr. Gunderud: Our need for the variance is extremely severe as my in-laws are very elderly and unable to care for themselves. My father in-law is almost totally blind and in order not to be completely incapacitated, needs to be in familiar surroundings. They both need care but he, in particular must have constant care, and could not receive this attention any\~here else. Neither one of my in-laws can drive now and depend on us for transportation, particularly to get all their food, supplies, and medical care. If they were forced to go elsewhere, I believe there would be grave conse- quences to their health and, therefore, it is with deep concern for their welfare that I seek your indulgence and ask for your help. Box 335 Fishkill, New York 12524 RE: Violations of Town Ordinance Dear Hr. Mauer: It has come to my attention that a "carriage house" on your property ~tax parcel 6257-04-781006) was converted to a residence. The':"-e appears to be three (3) violations of Town of Wappingers Zoning Ordinance. 1). only 1 single-family residence is permitted oa a lot in your district. 2). no building permit was issued for the alteration and 3). no Certificate of Occupancy was issued for the lawful use of the structure as a residence. Please attend to these violations on my part will not be necessary. ~ b..v~ ~. rJO~ \lr ,~ Jt'~J immediately so that further action ~:erelY, 0 1!!:: ti~~~ Building Inspector & Zoning Administrator HRG/dlh CC: Thomas Logan, Assessor
