Dear Mr. Ruitt:
Enclosed is a Notice of Appeal for an amendment to the existing
special use permit for Artie's Exxon on the corner of Meyers
Corners Road and DeGarmo Hills Road.
The request is for putting up canopies over the gasoline pumps.
Each canopy will be made of material as stated in the canopy
plans. The gas station is open from 7:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M.
weekdays and on Sundays from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. The signs
would only be illuminated when darkness sets in to 9:00 P.M. each
day. Means of illumination would be four florescent lights on
each canopy. There will be no additional signs installed.
Also enclosed is a copy of a sketch showing how the canopies will
be installed over the gasoline pumps and the height of each canopy.
Also enclosed is copy of the plans for the erection of the canopies.
If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.
