Dear Sirs; In reference to the above project, the New Hackensack Fire Co~any has the following recommendations; 1) A dry chemical fire extinguisher with an ABC rating with a mi.n~ imum 2~ lb. capacity shall be located on the prenises. 2) A minimum of two (2) smoke detectors shall be installed on the premises. There shall be at least one smoke detector located in the upstairs living area and at least one smoke detector in the downstairs childrens area. All such units shall be Uhderwriters Laboratories Inc. approved. 3) Every closet latch and bathrrom door shall be designed to permit the openig.g of the locked door from the outside in the event of an emergency. The above recommendations apply to the above project with the understand- ing that no more than seven (7) children will recieve care and supervision on a contnual basis.
